Grammy Award winner Janet Jackson is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actress. She is the youngest in the Jackson music family. Her first breakthrough was in the family's limelight in 1974 Las Vegas production, then in 1976 television show, and later on her own as a television actress. In the early '80s she released modestly successful records, Janet Jackson and Dream Street. According to Billboard, Janet is ranked 9th most successful artist in the history of rock and roll. She holds the record for the most Soul Train Music Awards. Janet also gets the fame for being the "Most Searched on the Internet," in 2006 and also the "Most Searched for News Item," according to Guinness Book of World Records. According to Forbes Magazine, she was ranked the seventh richest woman in the entertainment business amassing a fortune of more than $150 Million.
